Ms. Hongling Liang is currently a doctorate candidate in collaborative piano at the University of North Texas. She is studying with the pianist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Steven Harlos, and Associate Professor Dr. Elvia Puccinelli. Ms. Liang received her bachelor’s degree in piano performance with Hesong Wang at Jinan University. She continued to obtain her master’s degree at the Longy School of Music of Bard College with Horszowski Trio’s pianist Rieko Aizawa, legendary pianist Peter Serkin Professor Robert Merfield. She also studied with Van Cliburn gold medal winner Kobrin Alexander and concert pianist Tatiana Muzanova for her Artist Diploma in Piano Performance. Ms. Liang has made her debuts in both China and the United States as a soloist and chamber musician. Her concert tour includes Jordan Hall, Pickman Hall, Granoff Music Center, Legacy Hall, Bill Heard Theatre, Xinghai Concert Hall, and among others. She also has won prizes in numerous competitions, including the Hong Kong International Piano Competition and the Macaw International Piano Competition.
Ms. Hongling currently serves as a piano faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
