Ms. Veronica Wang
Cello

Ms. Jin “Veronica” Wang has won First Prize in multiple competitions, including the Charleston International Music Competition and the Golden Classical Music Awards, and was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall.

As a chamber musician, she has performed at the BIMFA Beijing Music Festival and participated in numerous chamber music performances in China, the United States, and Ireland.

As an orchestral cellist, Ms. Wang was selected for the Bayreuth Youth Music Festival in Germany, where she worked with Maestro Peter Stark. She also performed with the Renmin University Orchestra on tours to Dublin University and Cork College in Ireland. Currently, she performs with the UNT Symphony Orchestra, the UNT Opera Orchestra, and the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra. She also serves as a cellist with the First Baptist Dallas Choir and Orchestra. Ms. Wang has a deep passion for teaching and is experienced in working with students of all ages and levels.

Ms. Wang obtained her bachelor’s degree from Renmin University of China in Beijing, and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas. She is now pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Cello Performance at the University of North Texas. Her major professors have included Eugene Osadchy, Gal Faganel, and Horacio Contreras.

Ms. Wang currently serves as a cello faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
