Mr. Ethan Dunn is a violinist known for his versatility across classical, baroque, and fiddle styles. Ethan has participated in masterclasses led by William Hagen, Angelo Xiang Yu, and Beth Elsner. He was a participant in the 2024 Eastern Music Festival, where he served as concertmaster and principal second with the orchestras and studied under Giora Schmidt and Jeffrey Multer. Additionally, he was a participant of the 2025 Tafelmusik Baroque Institute in Toronto, Canada, studying with top baroque specialists such as Julia Wedman and Ivars Taurins. Ethan has served as assistant concertmaster for the UNT Concert Opera Orchestra and has appeared as concertmaster and as a soloist with the UNT Baroque Orchestra. A seasoned fiddle player, he performed extensively with Abilene-based fiddle group Revolution Strings and performed with Grammy winner Mark O’Connor. As a current undergraduate student at the University of North Texas and recipient of the Undergraduate Quartet Fellowship, he studies with Julia Bushkova and baroque violinist Cynthia Roberts.
Mr. Dunn currently serves as a violin faculty member at Prime Music Institute.
